Common work passes

Employment Pass (EP)

For eligible foreign professionals, managers and executives with a job offer in Singapore. Candidates must meet MOM’s qualifying salary requirements and, unless exempt, pass the Complementarity Assessment Framework (COMPASS).

S Pass

For eligible skilled foreign employees who meet MOM’s assessment criteria. Employers must also meet the applicable quota and levy requirements.

Other passes and family applications

Work Permits and other pass categories have different eligibility conditions. We can help you identify the relevant information to review. Support for Dependant’s Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass applications can be discussed where the main pass holder and family members meet the relevant requirements.

Documents to prepare

Common information includes the applicant’s passport particulars, employment history, proposed role and salary, and the employing company’s business details. Qualifications, verification records, translations or other supporting documents may be required depending on the pass and individual circumstances.

Plan ahead

Eligibility, salary thresholds, quotas, fees and processing times may change. Each application is assessed by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and approval cannot be guaranteed. Avoid committing to relocation arrangements before receiving the relevant approval.
